Beetles.
Rock Beetles, Rain Beetles, or the Dervish Titans in Realm of Torment. As soon as I hit Vabbi and found these guys, I turned off sound in GW to stop listening to their chattering for good.

Actually, the only thing I can do is to wand them to death and pray the physical attackers can deal with them without support. Sometimes pressing the button till VoS wears off works, but these mobs are still the most annoying in all of GW.
Closely followed by the neverending stream of touchers in Duncan's dungeon.

I would have to agree with this one right here. VoS (and the like - SB etc) suck. It seems more and more monsters are using the 'Can't Cast on them' skills to their line up of skills. Really annoying not being able to help your team.
I do the same thing.. just keep trying till it wears off and hopefully get it in there before it is cast again.

rangers, too high resistance to all elements, in addition to having good blocking and troll unguent, this is mostly from an Elementalist Player's perspective

Hmm...well when I first saw this I thought you meant what race, and in that case I was going to say the Charr. They're so annoying, especially in GWEN using meteor shower and trying to kill mobs for Legendary Defender of Ascalon. About to give up on that title (must resist!)
Otherwise, I hate the mesmers while farming Sunspear and Lightbringer points in hard mode because of their interrupts. And during AB (even though that's not PVE, but it's similar because it's Kurzick and Luxon which is part of PVE) sins always pwn me so they get annoying too. hehe
Oh, and the Kournan rangers are annoying for melee fighting because they use Whirling Defense all the time and block everything. And elementalist bosses can be very painful at times...especially those earth ele dinosaurs in GWEN.

I hated fighting Monk boss who is in a mob with monks the most.
For normal groups, Ice Imps. They are the bane to Alessia/Mhenlo/Lina.

I've yet to find any player or any party that sees a group of Wind Riders and doesn't groan a bit.
The only thing more anoying for my War is the Skeleton Sorcerers in Hard Mode that blind me then run like scared rabits into every mob on the map.

I'd have to say a toss up between assasins and rangers when I'm playing my warrior, ranger or paragon because those little @%@#$@# always using Whirling Defense or whatever blocking stance and they can be so damn hard to hit and kill. Grrrrrr. Yes I know I can always take something like Wild Blow or something of that sort, but still...
Also, another annoying monster to fight is when you come across a group of ice imps. They are nasty little suckers if not careful.

Let's see ... I hate pop-up monsters of any kind and size because they interfere with tactical planning ... I hate with passion 'hit and run' pop-up monsters like some wurms and incubi that unlurk in the middle of your party, cause KD and AoE damage, then immediately lurk again to safety, and keep pestering you until finally ganked
